In 2016, Sony Electronics partnered with skateboard legends Tony Hawk and Aaron “Jaws” Homoki for an unprecedented zero-gravity skateboarding photoshoot. Aboard the Zero G airplane, with a handpicked crew, Hawk and Jaws aimed to master skate tricks unimaginable on Earth.
Guided by Jared Prindle from 900 Films Productions, they used an impressive lineup of Sony cameras, including the Sony 4K Action Cam and Sony a7S II. Shooting from multiple angles, they chronicled the duo’s efforts at pioneering tricks. However, the thrill came with challenges; they had merely two chances to secure the ideal footage.
