Launching in 2027, Voyager Station is set to become the cosmos’s first luxury hotel. A project of Orbital Assembly Corporation, led by former pilot John Blincow, it’s a testament to the growing ambition in space tourism, joining the likes of Jeff Bezos’s Blue Origin, Richard Branson’s Virgin Galactic, and Elon Musk’s Space X.
Initially revealed in 2019 with a 2025 opening, the launch was delayed to 2027 due to unforeseen challenges. Originating from the Pioneer Station concept, Voyager Station is an evolution—serving both research and leisure purposes.
Mimicking iconic sci-fi designs from movies like “2001: A Space Odyssey”, the 200-meter wheel-shaped station uses centrifugal force to adjust gravity levels. This ensures guests enjoy the thrills of space without compromising comfort or well-being.
Inside, the Voyager offers luxury accommodations, from rooms to grand villas with breathtaking views of Earth. Amenities include gourmet dining, a bar, and unique experiences from zero-gravity basketball to live performances. Safety remains a top priority, with 44 emergency vehicles stationed for rapid response.
